However you have to realize that sometimes what seems like a group dynamic is just individual people independently responding to something that sets them off. Things that set me off are : religious people assuming their beliefs apply to everyone or even that everyone should care about religion, people talking about "disciplining", spanking or reprimanding, cruelty to or jokes about that. Even jokes about any of those things set me off. So everyone in here or in any group of people probably has one or two hot buttons that set them off. So in conclusion I'm halfway agreeing and halfway disagreeing with you: -People who need and deserve to be treated nicely are likely to wander in to this forum. -The internet is what it is and there are basic expectations of internet etiquette but also a reasonable expectation that the internet is not always polite. -Mob group dynamics suck but sometimes what seems that way is just individual people reacting to something they feel strongly about.
